Directly below the main dining room, the Pub can accommodate about 40 table-seated guests. The Gasche House is an 1849 restored Victorian home originally built by Charles Gasche. In 1911 the Ames family bought the house and during their ownership added a back section and porches bringing the house to its present look. Several antique pieces owned by the Ames family are still found throughout the home. James Howey began the Bed & Breakfast in 1986. The house was sold in June of 2006 and is once again being redecorated and renovated. The Gasche House is listed in the National Register of Historic Places!. . .
