We closed the B&B in mid-2004, as per an order from the Town of Wilton. While we maintain that the order was illegal, the order was in writing and they refused to communicate with us further, even refusing to respond to written inquiries from our attorney. Thus, we concluded we had no choice but to cease operations. The harsh financial realities led to the sale of the property and all of its furnishings. The property was sold in August 2004 and is being used as a private residence. We are leaving these pages up as a testimony to the establishment we built and ran for several years.. . .
