Under new ownership, The Greenhill Hotel goes from strength to strength and is proving more popular than ever. This beautiful red sandstone Georgian mansion was built in 1804 as a private residence and is set in nine acres of parkland. It offers a private and peaceful setting for a few days relaxation "away from it all" or perhaps a business meeting. The Greenhill Hotel also well known in North Cumbria as a wonderful romantic wedding location, either for a civil ceremony or the wedding reception itself or even both. Private party celebrations can also be catered for here.
