Ric Altman built his home, the Black Cat Bed and Breakfast, and opened it in May of 2006 after spending twenty years in Key Largo. He owned a very successful scuba shop and dive charter operation in Key Largo for nearly twenty years until deciding he had enough of the hurricane threat. Ric was introduced to Twin Lakes during a trip to climb Mount Elbert, the highest point in Colorado. He was a member of the Highpointers, a club where the members try to the highest point in all 50 states. To date he has climbed 49. After that first trip to Twin Lakes, he tried to climb Mount Rainer four year. . .

We have an exceptional B & B in beautiful Twin Lakes, Colorado. The room has a queen bed and a convertible sofa, kitchenette, full bathroom, Satellite TV/VCR/DVD/HBO and WIFI. Our guests have a private entrance with parking. A very nice two room tent on the property sleeps 2-3 on twin air mattresses. The tent is nestled in the trees close to the house, connected to the B&B via walkie talkie. We added this feature for kids who like a camping experience while parents enjoy the comfort of a B&B. Although we obviously love our dogs, we do not allow dogs in the B & B. We are close to the Arkansas. . .
