Our trip was magical!!! This was my husband's 40th b-day....it was a surprise trip. He'd never been to the Keys, and he LOVED every minute of it!! What made it so perfect was in large part where we stayed! This place was beautiful....from the landscape, the cottages, the private pool, the privacy, and the peacefulness....yet, being within walking distance to it all! The cottages were beatifully appointed, and the bed was extremely comfy!!! It truly was a little piece of heaven. I would go back tomorrow!!!!! Your stay here will make your Key West experience that much sweeter!!!

We just returned from our relaxing stay in Key West as your lovely house which is very well appointed and the landscaping is beautiful. We were absolutely delighted and plan on returning. Thanks again for your restaurant suggestions. We especially enjoyed Cafe Soleil and the croissant shop for breakfast.

The two of us enjoyed our stay at Travelers Palm Inn and our visit to Key West. Travelers Palm is well situated and the guest houses are very well thought out in comfort, design, and privacy. The pool area was just beautiful and the water nice and warm. Being near Duval Street for all of the sightseeing and great places to stop at along the way really made our trip fun. Lots of walking to do if you like to do that, but there's always the bikes to rent, too.
The weather couldn't have been better during our early April visit and the hot tub was a welcomed sight after a day of walking around and exploring the area.
Well done on the renovations Michel!
We hope to be back in the not-too-distant future.

Staying at Travelers Palm Inn & Guest Home was a wonderful experience. After visiting Key West for several years, my husband and I decided to check out one of the many guest homes we pass while strolling through town. Travelers Palm Inn and Guest House was clean, modern and accommodating. Everything we could ever need was furnished. The property is well maintained, quiet and located in an area that is just far away from Duvall Street to appreciate the quiet.
The management is friendly, polite and attentive. I would recommend the Inn to all my friends and family.

Our plan to visit Key West started with our easy on-line reservation I made about 4 months earlier at travelerspalm.com and continued with email correspondence with our host, Michel Appellis. Michel answered our questions thoroughly and sent us a welcome email about a week before our vacation started including the offer to rent bikes right there and a few recommended attractions. We met Michel our first morning as we lounged by the pool. We chatted about the Inn's history and total reconstruction only 2 years ago. The four of us traveling together were very excited to get a 2 bedroom (with king size beds) cottage this close to Duval St., for the price we paid. I had trouble finding anything else that matched this. We fell in love with Chalet D'Amour as soon as we walked in. The website description and pictures of the cottage and grounds were very helpful, but didn't do it justice. We loved the quiet of Catherine St. The walk to the Southernmost Point and Duval St. was only about 5-10 minutes, with the walk to Mallory Square at the "busy" end of Duval being about 30 minutes or so. Our 3 night stay was perfect. If we ever get back to Key West, we know Travelers Palm Inn & Guest House will be our first choice!

My husband and I stayed in the Casa Caracol studio recently for 2 nights. This property is very nice. Very clean and the pictures of our studio unit were exactly as depicted on the website. The studio is a nice size and has everything you might need for preparing a light meal such as lunch or breakfast. It is complete with a mini refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, plates, utensils, glassware, etc. The room and bathroom are beautifully appointed with nice artwork and tile floors, and the bed is super comfortable with soft, high quality linens. Our unit had a small private porch as well. The garden surroundings and pool @ Travelers Palm are also very nice. The pool is small (which is the norm for Key West - most pools are referred to as "dip" pools) but is solar heated and has a lovely rock wall waterfall. The pool water was surprisingly warm even for mid-January. We enjoyed our stay, and would consider staying again.

My Bride Carrie & I just spent our honeymoon week at the Travelers Palm Inn & Guest House in Key West, Florida and it was such a nice place to stay.
The owner Michele & his wife were so gracious from the booking of the room all the way until we left for the airport at the end of our stay! When Carrie & I arrived at the Travelers Palm, Michele was there to greet us with a bottle of nice champagne to welcome us and celebrate the start of our honeymoon.
Unlike most places you find on the internet, the Travelers Palm looks just like the photos on their website or even better if that is possible. Our room was absolutely perfect, so perfect that we grilled out most nights, chilled in the very private pool and stayed in quite a bit. (And it was not just because we were on our honeymoon either!) When we checked in, Michelle took 20 minutes or so and told us about a lot of Key West's best attractions and some of his favorite places to go eat and visit.
And talk about privacy. You cannot get anymore quaint and private than the Travelers Palm. Even when there were 3 other couples staying there it still seemed so private.
So if you want to stay in a beautiful and very private location that is still very close to Duval Street and many Key West attractions, then we give the Travelers Palm Inn & Guest House a 5 Star stamp of approval. We definitely look forward to staying with them again.

We loved this place! It's off the beaten path but still close to downtown. The room was spacious, the inn keeper was extremely helpful (especially on restaurant recommendations) and the grounds were beautiful.

We used to stay at this beautiful place before we have moved to Key West. It was always our romantic, relaxing and most charming hide-out. This year out team of mixologists stayed there preparing for Key West Bacchanalia. They absolutely loved it! After hard work they were able to enjoy themselves and have some quality time. If you're looking for the essence of Key West - here it is.

This is one of the best places we have stayed when on vacation! The rooms are spacious, the decor is tasteful, and the attention to detail superb. This oasis is quiet and restful with a pool and jacuzzis in the inner courtyards. The owners have thought of everything from the comfy king-size bed, the beach towels, the dishes, microwave, fridge, iron and ironing board. The shower was even equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion dispensers! It was a delight to stay here, and we wouldn't hesitate to return the next time we are in Key West. In fact, we plan on staying here EVERY time we visit Key West. Next time, we'll bring some friends!!
