Our love affair with Three Rivers began in the eighties, when we were introduced to this place by a friend who discovered it "just passing through". Soon after, we started spending family Thanksgivings here, at the Lazy J Ranch. Then it became some long weekends. Soon it became every weekend we could manage. We decided that spending so much time here, it was impractical to keep renting, so we found a beautiful plot of land with river access, and built our vacation home. The ten private chalet and cottage accommodations are tucked into 1.3 acres of native oak trees, grasses and wildflowers. The Sequoia Village Inn's cottages and chalets comfortably sleep from 2 to 12 people. The Sequoia Village Inn also has a swimming pool and each cottage or chalet has satellite TV, VCR, air conditioning, a refrigerator, microwave, coffee beans and a grinder. The natural setting is breathtaking for this private bed and breakfast guest cottage deep in Salt Creek Canyon at the foot of Case Mountain. Fitting snugly into the the hillside, the Cottage has an open floor plan and was designed and built in 1985 as a special home for Elsah's Grandma. Grandma's favorite color of blue is found in the dishes, carpets, linens and furniture. A panoramic half-circle window frames the Sierra Nevada Foothills and meadow outside, and provides a magnificent framing for the star-studded night sky and the full moon rise from behind the mountains across the canyon. . . .
