A restored 1929 low rise building in Beaux Arts style, The INN is located across from a sandy beach on a main city thoroughfare, “the Del Monte Avenue.” The INN is tucked away from the tourists' hustle and bustle into the residential area of Oak Grove, a middle class working community. Yet, The INN is within walking distance to major cultural, recreational and visiting attractions. Once you walk into the lobby with its restored turn of the century ambiance, you'll forget all about the outside world. Retreating to the serenity of the rooftop, guests enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Monterey Bay, the city sky line and surrounding mountains. A hip boutique concept with luxurious amenities had been often cited and loosely claimed. Our concept of lodging takes this concept a step further by introducing new elements to the total guests' experiences in materials, design and fashion throughout the hotel. The rooms are efficient and designed to emphasize intimacy and luxury over vastness and unused spaces. Guest rooms have completely marbled baths, bamboo flooring, natural latex mattresses, cotton robes and 600 thread organic bedding. All flat panel LCD TVs are equipped with built-in DVD. There are no desks, refrigerators or microwave ovens! The concept is for the guests to indulge in sensual and luxurious bedding and bath in the rooms and enjoy the whole facility for other activities: There is a full bar, community kitchen table, roof-top lounging and an elegant lobby living room.
