Welcome to the Viola Street Inn, a traditional Bed & Breakfast, nestled on a sprawling hillside just six blocks from the historic San Marcos Town Square and Texas State University. The Viola Street Inn has been lovingly restored in Texas Folk Victorian Style, by owners Kerry Lee and Anthony Rash, both native Texans and Texas State graduates. Kerry and Tony fell in love with San Marcos while attending school in the 1970's and knew this was where they wanted to raise their daughter, Anna Lee (A & M Class of 2008). They are happy to provide a welcoming home base for families of TSU students and c. . .

The Lime Kiln Vineyard Bed and Breakfast is located on four acres next to our vineyard. The vineyard's name was taken from the abandoned lime kiln that one passes on the way to our property.
The Lime Kiln Vineyard is small, but beautifully maintained. The plants are individually pruned and harvested. They are trained using the bilateral cordon spur system. They are watered using a drip system that is fed primarily with rain water collection. Most of our grapes are of the Black Spanish variety, but there are several rows of Zinfandels. The Black Spanish grapes were brought in to Texas. . .

Our three bedroom Bed and Breakfast was custom built to accommodate guests, and has beautiful wood floors, antiques and art throughout, and a great porch area for each room, along with private bath. Breakfast is a two course meal starting with fresh baked scones or muffins, preserves, good coffee or hot tea, and fresh fruit. Welcome to twenty-five secluded acres nestled beneath towering oak trees in the Texas Hill Country. The Victorian country home features three eras of construction. The original 1850's home was a modest four room cottage. The 1900 addition gave the house its current grand facade, upper and lower wrap-around porches, towering columns and seven additional rooms, two additional fireplaces and an entry stairwell preserving turn of the century wood craftsmanship and beauty. The current restoration provides all modern day amenities, including private baths in each guest room.
