The Boardwalk Inn was originally built in 1928 as the Travelers Hotel and is the oldest lodging establishment in St. Ignace Michigan. In the lobby we have on display the original desk registers from the years 1929 to 1934 that were found tucked away when the hotel was being remodeled. We have tried to maintain the charm and atmosphere of the old building wherever possible during our restoration.
