When you enter the grand 8' front door of the mansion, you are greeted by the handsome mahogany balustrade, Carrara Marble Floor, and hand woven Kurdish Turkish carpets. Immediately to your left off the foyer is the formal parlor, this is the room that would have been kept closed during the week and strictly off limits to the children in the family. On Sundays, the 10' tall pocket doors would be opened and guests would be welcomed in and entertained in this room.
