Welcome to The Red Hook Country Inn, located in the quaint village of Red Hook, 2 hours north of New York City and 3 hours south of Boston. The village of Red Hook is surrounded by rolling hills, small farms, historic sites, and breathtaking vistas of the Catskills and Berkshire Mountains. Our Red Hook Country Inn Bed and Breakfast is an excellent base to pursue activities, as we are only 2 miles to Bard College & Fischer Performing Art Center, 5 miles north of Rhinebeck, 8 miles east of historic Kingston, NY's first capitol, 15 minutes north of Hyde Park and 25 minutes south of Hudson, NY.

Numerous historic sites are nearby including FDR family homes and library, Wilderstein (home of Daisy Suckley, long time confident who gave FDR his beloved dog FALA) and Mills Mansions, Clermont (home of the first steamboat, ie, ' The Clermont'), Montgomery Place (the house is now open on Fridays with magnificent river view and garden walking paths), and the famed home of Frederick Church, the father of the Hudson Valley School of Art, Olana (built of mosaic tile with a 360* view of the Hudson River, Catskill, Berkshire and Taconic Mountains.
