From our B&B, it is an easy drive to Shippensburg, Gettysburg, Lancaster, Hershey and Harrisburg. We are centrally located to the area's most popular attractions: The Carlisle Collector Car Shows, the Appalachian Trail, the Yellow Breeches Creek, Dickinson College and Penn State Dickinson School of Law. Our beautiful home dates back to the early 1880's. The land and the dwelling were part of a larger tract belonging to the Craighead family, who settled the area in 1742. As you approach our home, you will see a charming house with an inviting front porch and red shutters. When you step inside, you will be greeted with old-fashioned hospitality. "Nooks and crannies" add to the charm of the house. A few additions over the years, give the house its personality. Original art work by family and friends covers the walls in every room. |
