Prairie Wind Farm

Prairie Wind Farm is a small family farm located halfway between Houston and Austin on the beautiful rolling prairie of central Texas. Our farm is a working farm with cattle, chickens, and rabbits.

We offer accommodations in the three guestrooms located on the second floor of our 1921 farmhouse. A wonderful front porch, where you can relax with your favorite beverage and talk or read a book, is a great place to start or end the day.

A full breakfast is served in the dining room, and we cater to your breakfast wishes as much as possible.

For more privacy we offer The Smokehouse. As the name implies, it is a converted smokehouse. As much as possible of the original building has been preserved, making an interesting mix of rustic and sophisticated country. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a sitting area. Because of the intimate setting, The Smokehouse is available only as a unit. However, arrangements may be made for the use of only one bedroom.
