Pappy's Paradise Bed & Breakfast, Pottsboro, Texas

Pappy's Paradise Bed & Breakfast began as an outgrowth of Billy and Julie Vier's love for hospitality. The land was once owned by Julie's grandfather and later by her parents. They built their retirement home on it and affectionally named it "Pappy's Paradise" after her father who was called "Pappy." In 1989 Billy and Julie moved onto the property and converted the barn/garage into their home. Later with the expertise of their son, Todd, they built "The Cabin" to host extended family and visiting missionaries. After the passing of Julie's parents and her and Billy's retirement from education in 2004, they extended their hospitality to the public and opened a bed and breakfast. In 2009 Todd once again helped them build another cedar home on the property called "The Texas House." The property now hosts three guests houses. Billy and Julie enjoy seeing their guests enjoy their properties and experience the peace and tranquility Pappy's Paradise offers.
