The Old Log Cabin is the oldest cabin on the upper Big Thompson (built in 1898) and it has a deck that hangs out over the river, as do many of the other cabins. The rest of the cabins were built many years later, Loveland Heights Cottages started with that one Log Cabin many years ago. You can enjoy fishing, hiking, a picnic or a quiet stroll down our Beautiful River Walk. We are just 3 miles from downtown Estes Park and 5 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park. We have one, two and three bedroom cottages with fully equipped kitchens (all you need to bring is your food). We are one of the best vacation values in the Rocky Mountains, with cabins starting as low as $85.00 a night. Of course you might have to share your picnic with the many elk and deer that think our beautiful lawn area is the best.
