Inglenook Farm was originally built as a summer home by a prominent Mt. Vernon lawyer, Norman A. Piercy. The Piercy's shared their lovely Victorian home with family, friends and professionals across the state of Illinois by hosting a large gathering each fall. Everyone enjoyed an abundance of home cooked goodies, wandering through fields of wild flowers or just watching the flocks of birds and assortment of wild animals.
