The Kaiser House is a beautifully renovated period hotel. It is conveniently located in the downtown area--within walking distance of the major Philipsburg attractions and stores. Lynn prepares awesome french toast and is a great historian for the hotel. We highly recommend this quiet and comfortable hotel!! Also, check out the wonderful store on the first floor!

We spent last weekend in Philipsburg for a family wedding. Our family stayed at the Kaiser House. Lynn was a gracious host, accommodating our every need, the rooms are beautiful (and SPOTLESS!), and breakfast was beyond delicious. I would highly recommend the Kaiser House to any friends or family. I am already trying to plan my next trip!

My daughter and I spent a long weekend - Friday to Monday - at the Kaiser House at the end of March. Our objective for the visit was the "End of season, Ski Patrol Party, in which my son is a member. Lynn Unger, the Kaiser House's driving force, was active in making our stay a delightful one long before we arrived. From the personalized welcoming email to arranging keys for our late arrival Lynn made certain our stay started off on a positive note.
The inn is magnificently restored. One immediately has the feel for "how it used to be" without feeling like you are in a museum. From heated bathroom floors to full wireless internet the Inn is most comfortable with all the modern conveniences in an antique shell. The Inn also supports a large gift - sundries shop with a surprisingly large selection of will priced wines. Lynn's breakfasts were well worth the anticipation and she is a wealth of information on the area plus insight on the big world from having lived in such diverse locals as Russia and Bolivia.
Philipsburg, in late March, was a perfect in between season time - end of ski and before summer hiking and the town was not crowded. A great venue for photographers and several, not to miss restaurants, sweet shops and accompanying bars. We'll be back!
