We stayed at The Herren House for relaxation and a little time to fly fish. Our 17 year old son joined us and he enjoyed the hospitality as much as we did. Henry and Stephanie went out their way to make sure they had extra pancakes for our son, just in case he didn't like the incredible spinach quiche. This is a beautiful B&B that cannot be beat. The town of Waynesville has such a small time town feeling. Great shopping, art, and restaurants all around.

Henry and Stephanie Batha are very hospitable innkeepers- you feel at home at the Herren House. Excellent food, beautiful rooms, and gorgeous scenery- you're bound to come back again. It is also in close walking distance to downtown, which is a convenient way to enjoy your vacation.

My wife and I only got to spend one night with Henry and Stephanie due to an 8" overnight snowfall. We went to the mountains to see snow, but didn't know we were so influential with the weather. The food is terrific. Stephanie is a wonderful cook. We stayed in the Henry Room and got to meet the person after whom the room was named at supper that night. He's the former Mayor of Waynesville and a next door neighbor. If the weather forecast was not so dire, we would have spent the next night as well. The house is just a block from Main Street so it is very convenient to get to shops and eateries.
