The Abergavenny Arms is a traditional pub and restaurant, originally a coaching inn believed to date back to the 15th century. We have two bar/eating areas both with open log fires ( lit at the first sign of a chill in the air !), where you can eat, drink and relax. There is also a 30 seat restaurant which is suitable for private parties/small functions. Many internal and external enhancements have been made to the Abergavenny since the new owners took over in June 2008, including an attractive terraced garden. The largest of the six lakes on the main part of the site, these are actually one lake divided by a causeway and wooden bridge. We class them as two lakes because, as strange as it may seem, although they share the same water and the fish can swim freely under the bridge, they don't! Our regular anglers confirm what we have always suspected, that the fish keep to their own side of the bridge and do not venture to the other side!
