Down By The River Bed & Breakfast

Down By The River is a 15 acre property that borders the San Pedro River and is within sight of the northern end of the world famous San Pedro National Riparian Area.

The San Pedro, the last free flowing river in Arizona, is one of the best bird areas within the United States.

The Santa Fe style home offers views of mountains on all sides. To the east is Cochise's Stronghold, a part of the Dragoon Mountains where the Cochise was buried, to the south is the Huachuca Mountains and the Tombstone Hills, to the west is the Whetstone Mountains, home of Kartchner Caverns State Park.

Sit back on the porch in the evening and enjoy the peace &quiet. If your so inclined, BBQ your dinner on the grill &watch for the local wildlife that visits the property. For amature astronomers, the inn has two telescopes so you can view the night skies. Look at the planets or other deep space objects in the clear dark sky.

In the morning, wake to fresh coffee and smoothies followed by a full breakfast. Sit back in the leather padded mesquite chairs while you dine at the large handmade mesquite table and enjoy the morning vista of the cottonwoods bordering the San Pedro with Cochise's Stronghold as a backdrop.
