Dabney House Bed and Breakfast

Dabney House is a 1907 Craftsman Style home featuring its original hardwood floors, beveled and stain glass, woodwork and light fixtures. It is decorated with antiques that gives the feeling of coming home to grandma's house. Four rooms are offered on the main floor with queen size beds and private baths. In an attempt to offer that something special, a Candlelight Romance Package is available by a 48 hour prior reservation. This is a four course menu highlighted by the main entree "The Dabney House Baked Parmesan Chicken Breast" and cheese cake for dessert. This is enhanced by candlelight, flowers, music, and personalized service. Other features include a hot tub and a front porch swing for enjoying quiet moments together. Full breakfast is included with the specialty of the house being Pecan Waffles with pecans from the Houses own five pecan trees. For the guest looking for the little something in the room, special occasion baskets or flowers can be ordered pr ior to arrival. For certified Peace Officers and Fire Fighters we give a discount to honor the work they do for us. Only eight blocks from Granbury's historic square that offers theater, antique/craft shopping, festivals and water activities.
