As an annex to the Bed & Breakfast, we have 6 comfortable rooms available in the new motel building*, adjacent to the outdoor pool. All rooms have two beds, either Full Size, Queen or a combination. Rooms are very spacious (14'x26') and well-equiped with full bath. We offer telephone, whisper quiet A/C, high-speed cable-internet connection directly into your laptop, hair-dryer, and Color TV with Cable. Refrigerator and microwave in all rooms. Pleasant Lake House Bed and Breakfast is one of the oldest houses in Casco, built on the shore of Pleasant Lake on the north side of the outlet of lake. This outlet also provided power for lumber and grist mills established in 1837 on the south side of the outlet. By 1879, a shook shingle mill and a box factory were also in operation at the outlet. The mill site later became the landmark of the sawmill known today as Hancock Lumber where it now houses their administrative offices. Pleasant Lake House operated as a hotel from the early 1900's until 1966, at which time it became a private reside. . .
