Bruneau Dunes State Park

Bruneau Dunes State Park can be found southeast of Boise, and boasts the tallest sand dune in North America looming 470-feet high above the desert south of the town of Mountain Home. The state park includes a variety of landscapes including desert, dune, prairie, lake and marsh habitat. Activities include bird watching, fishing, swimming, hiking and viewing the stars at Idaho's only public observatory.
