We had a wonderful time at the Auberge. The gourmet breakfast was delicious, the setting is in the midst of wine country, the room was charming, and our hostess, Roxanne, was gracious and fun. It happened to be my birthday and she went well out of her way to be a part of a birthday surprise for me. She had just the right touch to make guests welcome and also to impart a sense of privacy to her guests. A very nice experience! Sandra and Jon

our second stay and just as nice as the first... different room the second time, both very comfortable...all the charm you could ask for ( assuming that's what you ask for) and warm showers, comfortable beds and spacious rooms and closets...roxanne was/is a wonderful hostess and her aides - rebecca and...i'm sorry, but she was delightful too, and i tend to sometimes forget my own name...breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed the company and conversations with the other guests at table...
but roxanne and the aubergettes ( check for their new cd.. or on youtube?) make it all happen...
renee and i love this place and will definitely return as often as possible...
as long as my plastic holds out...

We had a wonderful stay at Auberge! Our adult children gave us 2 night at this lovely B&B for our Anniversary LAST year. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we made 2 reservation dates and had to cancel both of them. Our Innkeeper, Roxanne, was very gracious, kind, and accommodating. A year later we finally made it! Roxanne never complained about our changes, she only helped us make it happen! The room was charming....we loved it! The breakfast is excellent; plenty of food with wonderful tastes. We look forward to our next stay!!

Absolutely beautiful Victorian house and carriage house in the midst of wonderful vineyards. The breakfasts were super delicious, with a French country flair. Our hostesses were more than helpful and accommodating and made really good suggestions about wine routes. Loved the whole experience and the carriage house is super. Would definitely go there again.

We spent four nights in the Auberge on the Vineyard in October with my wife, and would like to come again some day. The inn is tidy, quiet and perfect for those who seek a peaceful and romantic environment for their holiday.
Roxanne, the co-owner and host, did splendid job and took care of us with her sparkling laughter and wonderful sense of humor. The gourmet breakfast offered us every morning a new culinary experience with all the guests discussing lively around the dining table – just like they did in the good old days.
Cloverdale is a peaceful and friendly small town, from where you can explore the area. We rented bicycles and drove small roads from a winery to another. Such a paradise!

After deciding to have my wedding in Cloverdale, I began looking for a bed and breakfast to house the bridal party and family for the weekend. When I found Auberge and met the innkeeper Roxanne, I knew I had the right place. Roxanne was very accommodating, she let me buyout the inn for the weekend and fill the place up to capacity. Since my wedding venue did not have an area to get prepared, we were able to use the inn all morning for hair and makeup, and even have a small after party. My guests also switched around sleeping arrangements each evening to accommodate my husband and I on our wedding night, which didn't make Roxanne's life very easy, but she was never anything but positive and helpful. Indeed, the inn and grounds are gorgeous and relaxing, but Roxanne is truly what makes this place great. And the food is amazing and abundant! Whether you are looking for a quiet weekend for two or a large party like us, Auberge will satisfy on every level!

Such a charming inn! We stayed in the carriage house and it was wonderful to wake up to the vineyard view. That same view was a sight to behold at sunset as well. Roxanne was an endearing hostess sharing her wonderful wit and bevy of information of places to go and things to do. She and Rebecca will make sure you do not start your day hungry when you leave to tour the local wineries. We had a too short stay at Auberge and only got to enjoy one breakfast in the dining room, but were treated to a most delicious breakfast sandwich that we heated in the microwave before heading out to SF for our trip home. Talk about special treatment! Thanks for a delightful experience which we hope to repeat in the future.

Thank you for a truly wonderful stay here at Auberge! Our Montrachet Suite with access to our private balcony, gorgeous views of the vineyard, great daily 3-course gourmet breakfasts. Our in-room massage was so relaxing. What more can you ask for. Ah yes! The huge jet tub was the best! Cannot wait to make it back here again soon. Thank you Roxanne and all the Auberge staff for a truly amazing experience and warm hospitality. All the best, Michelle & Richard

The whole experience is wonderful. The breakfast was great. Roxanne and her staff were a joy. Recommendations for wineries to visit were great. The room was nice, the bathroom in the Lorraine is very large, however its across the hall, but didn't cause a problem. Would most certainly recommend to a friend.

I can only say that the stay for three nights at the Auberge was phenominal! On arrival, my wife and I were greeted by Roxanne as kings and queens. The directions to Auberge were easy, the key was waiting, and the room was immaculate and wonderful. Sitting on the porch was like sitting in paradise, i.e., the picture of the vineyard and mountains was amazingly accurate. We came for R & R, had no agenda, and just enjoyed the time and place. Breakfasts were with engaging people, and the conversations were neat. The food and its presentation was first class. Advice on local attractions was "right on" in every aspect. Even the one rainy day was just the respite which we needed to do nothing. There were no intrusions on our privacy, and I would rate this stay as one of the best I have had in years. My wife and I stayed at this magnificent Inn in order to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary. The setting was picturesque and the accommodations absolutely superb. However, the experience was truly made memorable by Roxanne and her amazing breakfasts. I would recommend this delightful hideaway to anyone who truly seeks a delightful treat in the Wine Country.

We stayed at this quaint, and enchanting bed and breakfast for 2 nights in Feb. It is warm and friendly, and extremely comfortable. Roxanne is an excellent host who makes you feel like family. We stayed in the carriage house and had gorgeous views of the vineyard and sunsets. The sheets are the softest I have ever slept in. It is located very close to many fine wineries and Roxanne has great knowledge of them all along with a great pass that lets you taste for free. If you are looking for an amazing wine experience this is the place to come to. And by the way the food is incredible!

I really enjoyed my stay here--a combination of a peaceful, beautiful setting; comfortable, large room with sofa and kitchenette; being able to bring my two dogs; the best breakfasts I have ever had in many years of staying in B&B's and the innkeeper's personal warmth. At breakfast, I sat with many wine enthusiasts and the innkeeper had great suggestions for wineries to visit based on the guests' particular interests.
I would definitely return!

We spent 2 nights at Auberge on the Vineyard & wish we could have stayed longer. We loved everything about it & the area. It was so peaceful & relaxing. And the breakfasts were fabulous! We'd go back in a heartbeat if for no other reason than the comic relief of Roxanne.

My husband, myself and six friends spent the weekend at the Inn during the Food and Wine Affair. Roxanne, the owner, couldn't have been more gracious, fun and accommodating. What a good sport, especially with our group. Breakfast was delicious, rooms spacious and a wonderful view. Can't wait to go back!
