This site was selected in 1891 as the location of the Sioux City Gentleman's Gaming Club. This exclusive club had several elegant suites and featured a two story octagonal great room, topped with the Gentleman's Poker Room. In the Roaring Twenties Chicago multimillionaire F. O. Butler purchased the property and converted it into a guesthouse for his affluent friends. In 1990, the house was totally renovated and opened as a Black Hills Bed & Breakfast. The inn boasts six bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and private bath.
