 1774 Inn Bed and BreakfastPhippsburg, MaineAt long last Jackie and John are able to welcome you to the refurbished 1774 Inn. Our first guests arrived last Friday and we now look forward to meeting many more over the coming months.
It's been a long wait since February this year when we completed the purchase of this magnificent and historically important house, but the preparation work has been well worthwhile and everyone seems extremely happy with the results. The rooms are beautifully furnished, the beds comfortable, the breakfasts seem to please even the most critical palates, and that amazing view across the Kennebec continues to inspire - or so the comments in the visitors' book say! We'll be adding extra touches here and there, and we're still waiting for the new web site with its updated pictures to be commissioned, but the main thing is that from now on we can assure you of a relaxing and memorable stay in one of the most unspoiled and scenic parts of New England.
